For the first time, the founders – Jochen Kröner and Gerhard Paulus – asked themselves why there were only 1-wheel washing machines, why a car always has 4 wheels. The idea never let go of both partners – the business idea was born.

Foundation and capitalization of the partnership “Gerhard Paulus & Jochen Kröner GbR”. Development and patenting of the 4-wheel washing machine.

Move into the first premises in 73278 Schlierbach (Germany / Baden-Württemberg). As a result, the first prototype of the 4-wheel washing machine was developed and built there in a minimum time of 6 months. Start of the pilot series production. Transfer of the partnership to Performtec GmbH. Plant founded in 73230 Kirchheim unter Teck. Jochen Kröner and Gerhard Paulus each became 50% managing partners.

Participation in the joint start-up competition of the district savings banks, McKinsey, the Stern magazine and the ZDF (second German television) with the result: 2nd state winner Baden-Württemberg, 1st district winner. Market launch of the modular wheel washing systems (basic and extension modules).

Further development of the 4-wheel washing system to the BIG WHEEL 4-wheel washing system. Development and market launch of the first “pure” modular rim washing system.

Development and equipment of the modular systems with the option “work table with two plastic rollers”. Further development of the BIG WHEEL 4-wheel wash system with new safety technology.

Development and equipment of the modular systems with the option “right dynamic high pressure nozzle”.

Further development of the modular wheel washing systems with new, stronger high pressure pumps. Further development of a low-maintenance roll tensioning unit for the BIG WHEEL 4 wheel washers.

Development of the Black Edition wheel washers, derived from the modular systems.

Start of production of the Black Edition wheel washers. Upgrading the BIG WHEEL 4-wheel wash systems with significantly stronger high-pressure pumps. Development and market launch of the modular rim washing system with expansion module.

The modular wheel washing system (as 1-wheel washing system) is now also available in a full stainless-steel version upon customer request.

Additional sound insulation is now optionally available for the modular wheel washing systems and the Black Edition wheel washing system.

The founders – Jochen Kröner and Gerhard Paulus – decide to sell the company to RHVB GmbH. Ralf Haspel, as managing partner of RHVB GmbH, also takes over the management of Performtec GmbH. Gerhard Paulus will remain with Performtec GmbH in an advisory function.
